Journal Club

Welcome to Journal Club

Journal Club is a space of scholarly community where graduate students, usually from the Arts & Sciences, present on their research or any other academic topic of interest. It's a great way to learn about work in other fields, practice presenting for a friendly and interdisciplinary audience, as well as to socialize with your colleagues from across different programs.

We hold weekly meetings on Thursdays, with doors opening at 5:30 pm and the talk starting at 6 pm. The talks are in the Grad Center (Ewell 250) and it will also be streamed on Zoom, so watch your email for the link if you are unable to make it in person. Journal Club has returned to providing food and drink before the talk—please bring a reusable cup as we do not have disposables!

The current co-organizers are Nic DeStefano and Ben Spaude. Contact Journal Club for more information. Follow GSA Journal Club on Facebook for updates (or see the feed below). Sign up here if you would like to give a presentation.
